Music camps and workshops across Music Generation Galway City for 2023 were so much fun! Thank you to all of those young people and cdhildren that took part!
We will be running the Instrument Taster Sessions again on the 21st and 22nd of August in the new GCC Music Centre at Galway Community College from 2p.m to 4p.m.
This is a great chance for your child or young person to try out a range of different instruments and meet some Musician Educators before they decide what they might want to learn after school as part of our Spreagaigí – Small Group Lessons from September onwards.
Parent supervision is encouraged for this event, as it can get busy!
Local Youth Projects across Galway City have clubs and summer camps available through our Bailigí Partnership programme. Clubs such as Jam Sessions, Drumming Taster Workshops, Music Production, Songwriting and performance. These youth projects include: Youth Work Ireland Westside, Áras na nGael, Involve youth project Salthill, Foróige Doughiska, Foróige Ballybane, Foróige Ballinfoile, Foróige Knocknacarra, Foróige Bohermore and more.
