We will be running the Instrument Taster Sessions again on the 21st and 22nd of August in the new GCC Music Centre at Galway Community College. 

This is a great chance for your child or young person to try out a range of different instruments before they decide what they might want to learn after school as part of our Spreagaigí – Small Group Lessons from September onwards. 

Parent supervision is encouraged for this event, as it can get busy!

Local Youth Project across Galway City will have clubs and summercamps available through our Bailigí Partnership programme. Clubs such as Jam Sessions, Drumming Taster Workshops, Music Prouduction, Song writing and performance. These youth projects include: Youth Work Ireland Westside, Áras na nGael, Involve youth project Salthill, Foróige Doughiska, Foróige Ballybane, Foróige Ballinfoile, Foróige Knocknacarra, Foróige Bohermore.

Designed for young bands and young musicians interested in performance in a supported and safe atmosphere.
